This is my Dad's mother. She lived to be 103 years old. She was very special to me. I remember her watching me as a little girl and one story I remember was her walking me home, we only lived a block away. As we were walking, I remember some kids were making fun of her and I remember yelling at them to stop. Grandma spoke broken English and she wasn't really one of those extra touchy grandma's she was just herself around me. She didn't talk to be like I was a little kid, she always talked to me like an adult. When we moved to Connecticut we didn't see each other that much. Sometimes I wonder what my life would have been like living in NY. Family was important to her and family is always important to me.
