"Fishing" at Nibley Park

Ruth remembers how she and her older brother, Joseph, would walk to Nibley Park, Salt Lake City Utah and fish in the lake at the golf course when she was about eight years old.  Joseph was three years older.

That means that even though it seemed like a long way from your home on 2916 East, 700 South in Salt Lake, it was only about two city blocks (.25 miles). To a little girl that would probably be quite a ways. I love your childhood stories. It's amazing that you can remember back that far. I can't remember much from when I was 8 years old!
